"Making Peace with Your Religious Past" with Rev. Adam

Oct. 2, 16, 30 & Nov. 6, 20 from 7pm in the Program Center

All of us have a religious past: no matter where we’ve come from, the presence or absence of religion has played a role in how we have come to be a part of this congregation. The things that we love, loathe, and ponder about religion affect how we are Unitarian Universalists today.Whether you’re a long-time UU or just joined, whether you have a happy, difficult, or non-existent religious history, you are welcome to take this class. By understanding where you’ve been, it becomes easier to be more fully here right now!

Harvest the Power: Leadership Training

Facilitated by teams of leaders with Rev. Adam & Dan in supporting roles, culminating with four-workshop sessions:

UU Identity: Oct. 21, 28, Nov. 4, 11

Purpose: Jan. 20, 27, Feb. 3, 10

Path: Apr. 28, May 5, 12, 19

Many Unitarian Universalists experience a deepening commitment to their faith and congregation as a call to accept a position of leadership—as a lay worship leader, a leader of children or youth or a member of a task force, committee or governing board. Harvest the Power provides leadership skill development that goes hand-in-hand with faith development. The program helps lay leaders grow in spirit as they grow as leaders.
