Kindergarten thru 6th Grade

Children in kindergarten through the sixth grade generally participate in the first fifteen minutes of the adult worship in the Sanctuary, highlighted by a short story that we call “A Time For All Ages.”  Following the story, children leave the Sanctuary to attend church school classes.

Classes are organized by grade level or age range depending upon the mix of children in each year’s class registration. This flexible approach allows us to offer our children the best church school experience possible.

Our youngest children in primary grades focus on treating one another kindly and learning what it means to be part of a Unitarian Universalist faith community.

Older children participate in small group classes in which they begin to explore Unitarian Universalism, Judaism, Christianity, and other world religions.
