Worship Print

“Worship at the Universalist Church is the center of all we do, the one time each week we all gather together, here on Fern Street.  It is a time of song and prayer, silence and word.  Join us as we gather each Sunday to celebrate the gift of life, to give thanks, and to continue our journey of learning how best to live this life we have been given.”
- Rev. Jan K. Nielsen

Most of the year, we have two services on Sunday. Services begin at 9 AM and 11 AM and are usually an hour long. In the summer, roughly June to August, we have a single service at 10 AM.

Throughout the year, certain Sunday worship services have particular meanings and formats. These special Sundays, like Children's Sunday and Music Sunday, have become cherished traditions here on Fern Street.

In addition to worship services on Sunday, our church performs services that honor and celebrate your life's most significant events: Weddings, union services, child dedications, memorial services and funerals.

Special Accommodations

Services can be heard in the Parlor and Listening Room if the Sanctuary is not the best choice for you. Personal Assistive Listening Devices are available in the Sanctuary, and large-print hymnals are also available. The building is equipped with an elevator and is wheelchair accessible.
